Thanks for your suggestions, GoodWay has a team, but our best team is the users.
GOODWAY FLIGHT PLANNER TUTORIAL WINDOWS
We will try to have the major windows (Flight plan, Map and Airport Facilities) ready for this mode (is it ok for you on they 3 windows ?). I think we can put that inside GoodWay 5.5.0 is for November / December. Your suggestion to 3 sizes is the good one. Major parts of pilots do not have a big screen and the current size is ok, but if you push your X-Plane screen resolution, probably it could be a bit hard to read texts without effort. But we are working on and we hope to have a solution implemented inside a version before end of year.Ībout the text size, you are right. It is the raison why it is not done for now. and extrapolate the missing data between station exactly like X-Plane does, else it will not be realistic at all and could confused the pilots. More than that we need to use exactly what X-Plane itself use (METAR file). We are working on this part with the team in relation with real pilots (little commercial aircraft and also on big Airbus A320 pilots). The current version of GoodWay do not interact with the weather. My eyes aren't as good as they once were!Īn excellent review too, thank you!Dear Toby, Would be great to know how it works in more detail.Īnd it would be great to have a normal, large and very large UI option for the flightplan overview. The only thing I cannot find out is if Goodway interacts with the current weather or not when automatically creating a flight plan.

I have this too in PFPX but I have to programme each aircraft first and find performance data. I bought Goodway after reading this review and it is excellent, the automatic route planning and the send to GPS option is a real time saver. Instantly sends your created fight plan to the GPS or FMC. Selects your chosen aircraft (or the nearest match) from a drop Saves a newly created flight plan into X-Plane > Output > GoodWay folder. Loads a previously saved GoodWay 5 flight plan. The details of this will be covered shortly in 'Flight
